Monster Cookie Protein Balls
Do you have a sweet tooth like me? I’m talking a constant, TWENTY-FOUR SEVEN sugar craving. I sometimes fantasize about an alternate universe where ice cream is as healthy as broccoli and I eat it all hours of every day. But since that doesn’t exist, (or we haven’t discovered it yet) I had to come up with something else.
Over the years, I’ve gotten pretty creative with healthier ways to satisfy my sweet treat obsession. Instead of grabbing a candy bar or racing to Little Man Ice Cream – aka Denver’s best ice cream shop – I now reach for these tasty little monster cookie protein balls.
Not only will they kick your cravings to the curb, but these protein balls will also come in handy on the go:
- The perfect pre-workout snack if you train early in the morning and can’t stomach a big meal
- Throw a few in your kid’s lunchbox for a healthy snack instead of a Snickers bar
- Bring some with you if you’re traveling instead of grabbing something at the airport or gas station
They’re convenient, easy to make, and the taste is to die for!
